William Calhoun Jr. started out pairing with DJ Aladdin in Low Profile back in 1987, then formed WC and the Maad Circle before becoming the third piece of Westside Connection alongside Ice Cube and Mack 10 in 1996 — their debut Bow Down went platinum and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Four solo albums deep and still a defining voice in West Coast rider music, plus a side career as a dialect coach on FX's Snowfall.
