Vince Staples came up through Odd Future's orbit and Earl Sweatshirt's circle before signing to Talib Kweli's Blacksmith Records, releasing the Stolen Youth mixtape with Mac Miller in 2013. His 2015 debut Summertime '06 produced the platinum single "Norf Norf" and set the tone for a run of albums — Big Fish Theory, FM!, Ramona Park Broke My Heart — built on dry wit and a refusal to romanticize the street content he's writing about. Created and starred in Netflix's The Vince Staples Show.
