Tyler Okonma co-founded Odd Future out of Hawthorne in 2007, first breaking through with the deliberately abrasive horrorcore of Bastard and Goblin before completely remaking his sound over the following decade. Flower Boy (2017) turned toward jazz and soul, and IGOR (2019) became his first No. 1 album and first Grammy win for Best Rap Album — a feat he repeated with Call Me If You Get Lost (2021) and followed with Chromakopia (2024), his strongest opening week yet. Also runs the Golf Wang clothing brand and the Camp Flog Gnaw festival.
