Dominick Wickliffe came up out of Long Beach starting at 17, signing to Virgin in 1995 before passing through Death Row Records. In 2008 Joe Budden brought him into Slaughterhouse alongside Royce da 5'9" and Joell Ortiz, releasing two albums before disbanding in 2018. Rebranded as KXNG Crooked, he's also been ahead of the curve on the business side — launching Dynasty TV as an early artist-run streaming platform and running the "Hip-Hop Weekly" freestyle series years before that kind of release cadence became normal.
